After working in various aspects of the golf industry for many years and, at times, being a frustrated golf consumer disappointed by my shopping experiences at other places -- my goal was to create the golf pro shop where I would want to shop. At Carlsbad Golf Center, our team works diligently to provide all our customers – women and men alike -- with a pleasant shopping experience in a store where they can get just about anything they need or want to enjoy the game of golf. We constantly seek out and stock the latest and greatest products and equipment as well as make sure that we carry the newest models in sizes, variety and colors so we have something for everyone. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we’re always happy to special order it for you.
When I began my career in golf as an instructor, I quickly realized how important having properly-fit equipment is to my students’ overall improvement in their golf game. After spending years researching and designing equipment, I know that even the smallest changes in design and technology can affect a golfer’s ball flight. That’s why at CGC we provide so many equipment options and test clubs on the driving range where we can see the all-important ball flight. We have the capability to fit every different type of player by combining our swing, custom-fitting and equipment knowledge to produce amazing results for our customers. I love seeing the smile on my student’s and customer’s faces when they hit the ball better than they ever have before – and then later hearing how much they’ve improved when playing with their new clubs.

Although I’m not physically in and around the pro shop and range as much as I’d like, I am always there in heart, mind and spirit (just behind-the-scenes and behind a computer screen). CGC is one of my favorite places in the world because of what we do (golf) and how we do it (fun). I love working with customers when I get a chance to be on the pro shop floor, because I’m an amateur golfer just like them -- one who loves all the “toys” and it’s gratifying to be able to help each person select the right stuff for them. I thoroughly enjoy helping create events and promotions for our customers that are fun and meet their golfing needs. Plus, I get to give away the prizes when we have free drawings!
